Delivery
If we are out of stock we will ensure you receive your course within 5 working days.
All prices shown are inclusive of value added tax.
Registration with awarding bodies.
In the unlikely event you complete your course before your final payment has been made then we will register you once you have completed your payment plan.
We reserve the right to change the awarding body for your course to either an equivalent or better qualification.
Support
All our courses come with 12 months tutor support and some cases 24 months. You will also be registered with the awarding body for the appropriate period.
If you require a course extension then a fee will be payable.
YOU CAN PAY OFF YOUR ACCOUNT AT ANYTIME AND RECEIVE A DISCOUNT.
Refunds/Returns
UK Open Learning will refund the price or exchange any product found to be faulty.
Payments
We do not offer a Direct Debit Scheme, your monthly payment is take from your debit / credit card each month.
Cancellation
Your statutory right under the consumer protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, allows you seven days from the day after receipt of materials in which to make a written request for cancellation. To avoid any misunderstandins emails or telephone cancellations are not acceptable and you must send the letter by recorded delivery.
Please note that no goods can be accepted for return unless faulty if the seal has been broken. This complies with the UK and EU legislation and does not affect your statutory rights.
We offer a refund on all paper based course as long as they are returned within 7 days via Royal Mail Special or recorded delivery in resalable condition and not marked in anyway .
We will send you a refund less postage and packing.
No refunds are available for CD/DVD Rom courses.
After the 7 days have elapsed we cannot accept a course back under any circumstances and all the fees are payable.
If you choose to pay by instalments and your card is declined we charge an administration fee of £15.00 including VAT which is added to your account.
If your card is declined the whole amount becomes due and your support is suspended until payment for your course has been made in full.
We use a debt collection agency for all customers who default on payments and an administration charge of 15% is added to the amount outstanding plus VAT.
In the event the debt is passed to our collection department then we reserve the right to recover the awarding body registration fees.
International Students
If you are an international student and in the unlikely event you wish to return your course then we must receive an email within 7 days of receiving the course outlining your reasons for returning it. We will refund the costs of the course less overseas courier charges.
Special Offers
If we offer a course with a discounted "special price" then the 10% discount does not apply.
Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.
We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.
We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future.
The type of information we will collect about you includes:
- your name
- address
- phone number
- email address
- credit/debit card details
We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.
The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us at sales@uk-open-learning.com If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.
If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.
We do use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. Using a a "cookie".

UK Open Learning Ltd reserves the right to change the awarding body we use for qualifications and will always offer an equivalent or better qualification.
If you are a returning student and wish to purchase another course we will offer you a 10% discount from the RRP (cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer).
If you have any complaints about our service please telephone the Course Director on 0800 043 4288 and discuss the nature of your problem. We are committed to resolving all problems with 24 hours.
You statutory rights are not affected.
