Beginners Web Design Course "When I started this course a year ago I had absolutely no clue about HTML / CSS or anything to do with creating websites at all. I can now build my own websites from start to finish and have the ability to develop my skills even further with the knowledge this course has given me. The Course is well structured and gives you baby steps to learning the basics of HTML and eventually learning CSS and the more complex matters of learning about hosting and Search Engine Optimisation. The course is complicated and sometimes hard to get your head around but this is due to the nature of web design so perseverance and dedication were key factors when stuck with an particular issue. My personal course tutor Ian was a wonderful help when I have been stuck with problems i could not solve myself he always had the answers I was looking for. Ian was a great help when it came to my final assignment and helped me with hosting issues, form data and making sure my final site was fully optimised for search engine rankings. My background has always been in Graphic Design and felt that web design was a key skill missing from my portfolio, with this course I have filled this gap and a whole new world of creative design has been opened up to me. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this course and feel i have learnt a vast amount in the space of just one year. Health & Social Care Level 3 "This course has been one of the most enjoyable and informative level 3 courses I have studied. The course was easy to follow and the assignments relevant to the material. The course expects independent study, such as research, but this is very easily managed. There are 13 assignments which carry a certain amount of indepth information to answer but this is easily achievable with how well the course has been written. The end of course assessment was a pleasure to do and something I learned the most from. The help and advice from Joshua Cole, the tutor, has been invaluable. Joshua strives to get his students to pass the assignments by outlining clearly what is expected and how to achieve answering the assignments concisely with minimum difficulty. The feedback was positive and constructive and most of all very encouraging. I would recommend studying this course, not only does it enhance study skills and knowledge but carries a recognised qualification which is advantageous within the workforce or even gaining a university or college place.
